Mssa Tanjulla Tyson-Wearren

Tanjulla Tyson-Wearren, MSSA, is an accomplished social service professional with extensive experience in management and community outreach. Currently serving as the MRSS Manager at Thrive Peer Recovery Services since June 2022, Tanjulla also founded Leona's Legacy, focusing on raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease, particularly within the African American community. As Vice Chair of the Board for Girls on the Run Northeast Ohio and a former Social Service Supervisor for Cuyahoga County, Tanjulla has demonstrated a strong commitment to social services. Previous roles include social work positions at Cuyahoga County and a congressional internship with Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge. Tanjulla earned a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Cleveland State University.
