Jean-Luc Mette

Jean-Luc Mette has a wealth of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and economic development. Jean-Luc began their career in 2011 as a Management Trainee Program at Puma SE. In 2013, they moved to The University of Texas at San Antonio as a Marketing Coordinator. From 2015 to 2019, they held various roles at the City of San Antonio, including Senior Economic Development Specialist, International Relations Specialist, and Special Projects Manager, Economic Development. In 2019, they joined Partnership Leaders as a Member, where they were part of the industry association for Partnership/Channel/Alliances/Business Development leaders. In 2022, they moved to WP Engine as a Sr. Partner Manager - GSIs & Digital Agencies. Finally, in 2023, they joined ThriveCart as the Director of Strategic Partnerships.

Jean-Luc Mette obtained a Bachelor's (Double Major) in Communication Sciences and English from RWTH Aachen University between 2005 and 2008. Jean-Luc then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration - MBA from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
