Sherrie Kronforst

Sherrie Kronforst, M.A., SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Sherrie currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Thrivent, where they oversee HR operations for a large workforce. Prior to this, they were the Director of Strategic HR Partnering at Thrivent, responsible for HR operations in the Commercial and Distribution Divisions.

Before joining Thrivent, Kronforst held the position of Director of Human Resources at the University of Minnesota, where they provided strategic consulting and support in various HR areas. Sherrie also led special projects aimed at improving the university's workplace culture.

Earlier in their career, Kronforst served as Senior Director of Human Resources & Employee Engagement at Comcast Cable. Sherrie also served as the Director of Human Resources/Learning & Development, where they developed and implemented HR and talent strategies.

Kronforst began their career as a Senior Consultant at Right Management, where they provided consulting services in various areas.

Sherrie Kronforst, M.A., SPHR, SHRM-SCP holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Sherrie also obtained a Mini-MBA from the University of St. Thomas. In terms of additional certifications, Sherrie has completed the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in 2015 and the Voices certification from Korn Ferry in 2020. Sherrie has also obtained certifications in various areas such as leadership development, change management, and personality assessments.
