Amelya Cliff

Amelya Cliff has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amelya started their career in 2010 as a Journalist and Photographer at Walla!, an online news site in Israel. Amelya worked there until 2016, managing multiple weekly columns and producing independent and group articles.

In 2013, Amelya worked as a Customer Service Agent for Leumi Card, a credit card company. Amelya then took on a role as a Freelance Translator from 2011 to 2015, translating academic assignments and restaurant menus in Hebrew and English.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Translator at Wix.com and as a Legal Researcher at ANTI TRAFFICKING AND LABOUR EXPLOITATION UNIT (ATLEU) LIMITED. At Wix.com, they contributed to translating content, while at ATLEU, they conducted legal research on trafficking victims and asylum seekers.

In 2017, Amelya also worked as a Journalist and Photographer at Alondon Communications Ltd., focusing on news reporting and photography.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Content Specialist and Copywriter at yulife, where they produced various types of content and set up the company's tone-of-voice and strategy. During this time, they also collaborated with social media and PR agencies and produced video content.

Amelya then moved on to Go Up in 2021, where they initially held the role of Content Executive. Amelya later became a Senior Content Executive, acting as the content lead for large accounts and writing onsite and offsite content for clients in various fields. Amelya also optimized copy for client websites to ensure SEO compatibility.

From 2022 to 2023, Amelya worked as a Content Specialist at Paal15, a consulting and go-to-market agency in the B2B tech industry. There, they created content for tech corporations and their partners, simplifying complex technical concepts and avoiding jargon.

Currently, Amelya is employed at Thrive as a Content Marketing Manager, starting in 2023.

Amelya Cliff completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology, Politics, and International Relations from The Open University of Israel, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sociology at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2014 to 2015. In 2017, they attended BPP Law School for a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL). Additionally, in 2011 and 2012, they studied at United World College Mostar, but the specific degree and field of study are not provided.
