The Thuma team is seeking a Junior Brand Content Editor to join our Brand Creative team. Reporting to the Brand Content Manager you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content based on creative briefs for diverse channels and deliverables.

Thuma’s Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. This role is flexible and can be based in San Francisco or remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be working as part of the Brand Creative team, working alongside designers, copywriters, strategists, and channel owners to tell exciting stories.
  • Present and discuss work with clarity and confidence, giving and receiving feedback through copy critiques and creative reviews.
  • Craft effective, engaging copy in response to creative briefs across various channels and deliverables: social, email, paid digital, video, print, ooh, experiential, retail etc.
  • Responsible for researching, creating, and writing copy for creative concepts from the draft stage through final copy.
  • Work within established brand voice and guidelines, translating across various mediums.
  • Work collaboratively with copy team to craft larger, longer form content and support product launches.

  • Communicate continuously and effectively
  • Have 0-2 years’ experience in copywriting
  • Must have a proven portfolio of spec or produced work
  • Are resourceful, take initiative, and adapt well to change and unexpected updates
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and are able to work with creative and non-creative partners and stakeholders
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and autonomy. You don’t always wait to be told what to; you proactively look for ways to add value that the broader team can feel
