Nicholas Marucci

Nicholas Marucci has a diverse work experience ranging from business owner, web engineer, to web development instructor. Nicholas worked as a software engineer for Thuma starting from June 2023. Prior to this position, they owned Salt City Brainery as a business owner from March 2023 and Cafe Juniper from July 2020. Nicholas was a web engineer at Shopify from December 2021 to May 2023. Nicholas has a solid background in web development, being a senior frontend developer at Overstock.com from October 2018 to November 2021 and a front-end developer from December 2016 to October 2018. Nicholas also worked as a developer and consultant for Sol Innovations, Ltd. from August 2015 to August 2017, and as a mentor and teacher for web development at DevMountain in March-May 2016. Marucci has been teaching web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, React, and others since December 2016 with New York Code + Design Academy and Montana Code School as part-time and lead instructor, respectively. Prior to web development, Marucci was a new product development engineer at Parker Hannifin, where they designed and developed circuitry for electrically heated hoses from June 2012 to November 2015.

Nicholas Marucci earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo between 2009 and 2012. Nicholas also completed a study in Web Development at Devmountain between 2015 and 2016.
