James Reid

James Reid is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in teaching, judging, and food preparation. Currently serving as a Culinary Instructor at Thumbtack since February 2016 and at Job Corps since 2010, James specializes in providing hands-on cooking classes tailored to varying skill levels. Additionally, James holds positions as a Master Food Taster and Private Chef with Chefs Best since 2006. As an Independent Judge since 2007, James contributes expertise to culinary competitions. Previous roles include Creator/Chocolatier at Sterling Truffle Bar, Executive Chef at Mosaic Event Management, and Owner/Chef at James Reid Catering. James’s culinary journey began with positions at Bon Appétit Management Company and Lipps Restaurant, following an education in culinary management from Hasting College in England.
