Nima Rahimi

Nima Rahimi has extensive work experience in various legal roles. Nima is currently the Assistant General Counsel and Director at Thumbtack since January 2023, where they previously held the position of Senior Counsel and Director from August 2021. Prior to Thumbtack, Nima worked at Ford Motor Company as the Managing Counsel for Spin - Electric Scooter Sharing from July 2021 to August 2021. Nima also held the role of Senior Counsel for Spin - Electric Scooter Sharing from February 2019 to July 2021 and was the Associate Counsel for Chariot Transit Inc. from February 2017 to February 2019.

Before their experience at Ford, Nima was the Assistant District Attorney at the City and County of San Francisco from June 2016 to January 2017. Nima also gained experience as an Associate Attorney at Villarreal Hutner & Todd PC from February 2016 to June 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Littler Mendelson as an Associate Attorney from October 2013 to February 2016, handling federal and state class and individual actions. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Associate at Littler Mendelson in 2012 and as a Summer Associate at Cook Brown LLP in 2011.

Aside from their legal roles, Nima also has experience in education and social work. Nima worked as a Teacher and Curriculum Assessor at Challenger School from January 2010 to July 2010 and as a Project Youth Worker at the British Red Cross from March 2009 to December 2009. Nima started their career as a Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Roseann Torres from August 2007 to May 2008. Nima Rahimi began their education at Saint Francis High School, where they completed their secondary education from 2000 to 2004. Nima then enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and German. During this time, they also studied at Freie Universität Berlin for a year, focusing on Political Science and German. In 2008, Nima further pursued their education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Global Politics in 2009. Nima's academic journey continued at the University of California, Davis - School of Law, where they attended from 2010 to 2013 and earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
