Heather Poulter

Heather Poulter is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in public health and nursing. Currently serving as a Public Health Nurse focused on Workplace Health Promotion at Thunder Bay District Health Unit since October 2020, Heather also held roles as an Independent Consultant specializing in healthcare products with Cornerstone CEO and as a Supervisor at Grace Place Ministries. In academia, Heather has imparted knowledge as a Clinical Instructor in both the BSc Nursing program at Lakehead University and the RPN Program at Confederation College. Previous experience includes positions as Pastor of Children's Ministry at Redwood Park Church, Coordinator of Research and Evidence-Based Systems at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, and Director of Missions with the International Missions Project. With a robust nursing background that includes various specialties and roles from 1991 to 2000, Heather holds an H.B.Sc. in Nursing and a Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University, along with pastoral training credentials from Christian and Missionary Alliance of Canada.
