Beatriz Rendon

Beatriz Rendon has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Beatriz started their career in 1996 at Chicago Public Schools, where they held multiple executive roles and was responsible for various operational and academic functions. Some of their accomplishments include overseeing afterschool programs, managing budgets, implementing marketing campaigns, and leading the initiative to establish new schools in underserved communities.

In 2007, Beatriz joined Tucson Unified School District as the Chief Business Officer before moving on to work at the Critical Path Institute in 2009, where they served as the Director of Strategic Alliances.

Since 2010, Beatriz has been associated with Arizona State University. Beatriz played a crucial role in the establishment of ASU Preparatory Academy Charter Schools as the Founding CEO. Additionally, they currently hold the position of Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Arizona State University. Their main focus is on creating scalable and sustainable education models aligned with the university's mission of providing access and excellence.
