Salvatore Fara, PhD

Salvatore Fara, PhD has a diverse work experience in the fields of machine learning, data science, and computational neuroscience. In 2021, they began working as a Machine Learning Researcher and Data Scientist for Thymia. Salvatore also began a Data Science Fellowship at Pivigo, where they worked in a team of five on a project commissioned by Thymia. In 2014, they began a Doctoral Researcher in Computational Neuroscience role at the University of Freiburg, where they conducted EEG experiments, applied time-series analysis techniques, and presented results at seminars and international conferences. In 2012, they worked as a Research Intern, MSc at Imperial College London, and in 2011 they worked as a Research Intern, BSc at Università degli Studi di Cagliari.

Salvatore Fara, PhD has an extensive education history. Salvatore completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Cagliari in 2008-2012. Salvatore then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering with Neurotechnology at Imperial College London from 2012-2013. Most recently, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Neuroscience from The University of Freiburg in 2014-2021.
