Dr. Stefan Hahn has extensive work experience, primarily in the field of finance and controlling. Dr. Stefan has worked at thyssenkrupp in various roles, including Head of Controlling, Accounting & Risk for different business segments, such as Decarbon Technologies and Multi Tracks and Plant Technology. Dr. Stefan also served as the Head of Special Task Force - Controlling, Accounting & Risk for the Business Area Components Technology. Dr. Hahn has also worked as a Projektmanager Mergers & Acquisitions at thyssenkrupp.

Dr. Stefan is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering.

Prior to their roles at thyssenkrupp, Dr. Hahn worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. Dr. Stefan also gained experience as an Intern at Deutsche Bank and Ernst & Young.

Dr. Stefan Hahn received a Dipl. Oec. degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Ruhr University Bochum in 2008. In 2006-2007, they studied abroad at Trinity College Dublin as part of an Erasmus program. Dr. Stefan later earned a Dr. rer. pol degree in Internationale Rechnungslegung from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2012.
