Dr. Verena C. Quink

Dr. Verena C. Quink has extensive work experience in various legal roles. Dr. Verena C. began their career as an Associate Lawyer at White & Case LLP in 1999. In 2001, they joined GE Bayer Silicones as General Counsel for EMEA & India and held that position until 2006. Dr. Verena C. then moved to GE Silicones, where they continued as General Counsel for EMEA & India until December 2006. From December 2006 to September 2010, Dr. Quink served as General Counsel EMEA & India at Momentive. Dr. Verena C. returned to the same position at Momentive from October 2010 to 2017. In February 2018, they joined thyssenkrupp as the Head of Legal Operations.

Dr. Verena C. Quink obtained a Diploma in French Language and Literature from the Faculté de Sciences Humaines et Sociales - Sorbonne (Université Paris Descartes) in 1990. Dr. Verena C. then pursued their studies at the Universität Trier, earning a degree in International and German Law and Legal Studies (1. Staatsexamen) from 1990 to 1995. Dr. Quink furthered their education by pursuing a Juris Doctor (PhD) in International Private Law and Legal History at the University of Münster from 1995 to 1996. Lastly, they completed their educational journey at the District Court of Düsseldorf, obtaining a 2. Staatsexamen through the Referendariat program from 1996 to 1998.
