Thorsten Sakowicz has over 15 years of experience in commercial operations and project management within the industrial solutions sector. Thorsten has worked for various companies, including thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG and polysius®, in roles such as Head of Commercial Operations, Commercial Project Director, Head of Project Risk Controlling, and Senior Manager of Commercial Project Management. Their expertise lies in overseeing EPC turnkey projects in the cement and mining industries, as well as managing commercial contracts. Thorsten joined thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG in 2016 and continues to contribute to the company's success in their current role.

Thorsten Sakowicz received their degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Business Administration) from Bielefeld University, where they attended from 1999 to 2007. Additionally, they pursued an Erasmus program at Universitat d'Alacant in 2003-2004, focusing on Empresariales (Business Studies).
