Lambert Heller is an experienced professional in the field of library and information science, currently serving as the founder and head of the Open Science Lab at TIB – Leibniz-Informationszentrum Technik und Naturwissenschaften since March 2008, with a focus on Open Access, Reference Management, and Current Research Information Systems. Previously, Lambert Heller held positions at Freie Universität Berlin as a bibliotheksreferendar and at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster as a scientific assistant involved in DFG-funded third-party projects. Additionally, Lambert Heller worked as a freelance author for Bildungshaus Schulbuchverlage from September 2003 to August 2004. Educational qualifications include an MA in Library and Information Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a Magister degree in Sociology, Philosophy, and Political Science from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
