Lambert Heller is an experienced professional in the field of library and information science, currently serving as the founder and head of the Open Science Lab at TIB – Leibniz-Informationszentrum Technik und Naturwissenschaften since March 2008, with a focus on Open Access, Reference Management, and Current Research Information Systems. Die Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) ist die Deutsche Zentrale Fachbibliothek für Technik sowie Architektur, Chemie, Informatik, Mathematik und Physik. Aufgabe der TIB ist die umfassende Beschaffung und Archivierung technisch-naturwissenschaftlicher Literatur aus aller Welt. Der daraus resultierende umfangreiche Bestand steht allen Kunden im Rahmen des Volltextlieferdienstes zur Verfügung. In zahlreichen Projekten engagiert sich die TIB aktiv an der Entwicklung entsprechender Spezialtechnologien. Schwerpunkt ist der Aufbau einer Digitalen Bibliothek. Die TIB ist Mitglied der Wissenschaftsgemeinschaft Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (WGL) und des Leibniz-Bibliotheksverbundes Forschungsinformation mit dem Namen Goportis. The German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) is the German National Library for all areas of engineering as well as architecture, chemistry, information technology, mathematics and physics. The TIB's task is to comprehensively acquire and archive literature from around the world pertaining to engineering and the natural sciences. The comprehensive Holdings we have acquired are available to our users through our Document Delivery Service. The TIB actively participates in a large number of Projects dealing with the development of corresponding specialist technologies, with a key focus on developing a Digital Library. The TIB is a member of the Leibniz Association and of the Leibniz Library Network for Research Information named Goportis.
