Joao Franca Pinto

Joao Franca Pinto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the maritime and logistics sectors. Currently serving as Sales Manager Iberia at TIBA since January 2024, Joao previously held the position of Managing Director at Falck Spain from January 2018 to December 2023. Joao's experience includes serving as General Manager for Seago Line in Spain and Portugal, Iberia Operations Manager for Maersk Spain, and Managing Director at Maersk Angola. Additional roles with Maersk include General Manager in Gambia, Trade Coordinator in Spain, and Sales and Pricing Executive in Portugal. Joao also has experience as a Key Account professional at Novis and as an Auditor at KPMG Portugal. Joao holds a Master's degree in Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and completed the Young Managers Programme at INSEAD in 2005.
