Richard Eklund

Richard Eklund is a Swedish engineer and business executive. Richard is the current Head of Engineering & Development at Tibber, a position they have held since April 2021.

Eklund began their career in the early 2000s as a web developer for Folkia AS. Richard later transitioned into software engineering, holding various positions at Spotify from 2011 to 2018. In February 2018, they joined Paradox Interactive as Technical Director. Richard left Paradox after just eight months to join Volvo Cars as Technical Director, a position they held until April 2021.

Eklund has also served as an advisor for the SOON app since August 2018. In this role, they have helped lead the engineering team and build direct relationships with users.

Richard Eklund studied at Umeå University and obtained a Bachelor's degree.
