Doug Asker

Doug Asker has worked in the engineering field since 1989. Doug began their career at Optilink/DSC Communications as an Optical Line card and Transceiver Design Engineer, where they were responsible for component qualification, design, engineering, schematic capture, and PCB layout. In 1996, they joined AFC as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, where they supervised and managed ten system verification engineers for the initial release of the T1000 OMNI MAX DSL Broadband System. In 2000, they moved to Mahi Networks as a Senior Network Services Engineer, where they managed a 24/7 customer service team and support lab for customer specific applications. In 2005, they joined Tellabs as an Engineering Manager, where they worked closely with customers such as Verizon and AT&T, Telus and Frontier. In 2019, they joined Tibit Communications as a Director of Hardware Engineering and later that year, they were promoted to Director of Operations Engineering.

Doug Asker has an educational background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC Irvine. Doug also holds a CCNA certification from CISCO.
