Jay Teborek

Jay Teborek has 20 years of experience planning, developing, and marketing telecommunications solutions. Prior to Tibit, Jay built and directed the global Telecom Business Development Group for Broadcom’s Infrastructure and Networking Division. He came to Broadcom via the 2010 acquisition of Teknovus, where he was Managing Director of Carrier Markets. For the 10 years prior to Teknovus, he held senior management roles for two telecom infrastructure manufacturers — Soma Networks and Comverse Network Systems. In these two companies, his teams introduced over 20 new telecom solutions into the market, including the design and deployment of Comverse’s largest-revenue product line. Mr. Teborek has also held network planning and software engineering positions with BellSouth Int’l. and Potomac Systems.

Jay is active in digital inclusion projects globally which promote broadband access to underserved communities. He has served as advisor to five governments in Asia in planning their national broadband infrastructure projects, and as non-executive Board Director and advisor to Tapestry Ltd., Pty and Stitch Ltd., Pty, both promoting digital and social inclusion for senior citizens. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, and a dual MBA degree from INSEAD and Tsinghua University.
