Jennifer Torres

Jennifer Torres, MPH, RDN, LD is currently serving as the Supervising Registered Dietitian at Tiburcio Vásquez Health Center, Inc., where responsibilities include managing participant data for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program and overseeing appointment tasks related to participant eligibility and education. Previous experience encompasses roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, managing a REDcap database and developing recruitment strategies, and as a Dietetic Intern at UTHealth Houston, focusing on menu development and clinical project planning. Additional roles include work as a Nutrition Operator at Compass Group, an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine, and an Administrative Assistant at Electrified Services. Jennifer holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Behavioral Sciences and Health Promotion, and gained foundational knowledge in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Houston.
