Koenraad Dom

Koenraad Dom has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Koenraad most recently served as the Director of Risk & Compliance for Europe at Tide starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were an Independent non-Executive Director at Fiat Republic in 2022 and NRB in 2017. From 2019 to 2022, they held the position of Chief Risk Officer & Authorized Manager at Bitstamp. Koenraad also worked as the Chief Risk Officer at QG Invest Africa from 2015 to 2018 and as a non-Executive Supervisory Director at Euronext from 2014 to 2018.

Additionally, Koenraad held the role of Chief Risk & Finance Consultant at EZ FineAnts from 2012 to 2018, where they provided strategic finance and risk management advice. Koenraad was an Independent non-Executive Director at SFPI-FPIM from 2006 to 2017 and at NewB from 2014 to 2016. Previously, they served as the Global Director of Commodities Risk & subsidiary CFO at Nyrstar from 2007 to 2012.

Koenraad Dom began their educational journey in 1991 at KU Leuven, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Engineering, with a focus on Economics. In 1992, they went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in European Studies and Politics at the Université catholique de Louvain. Following this, Koenraad attended KULAK, University Kortrijk, Belgium, and obtained another Master of Science (MSc) degree in Risk Management in 2003. Koenraad later enrolled at Vlerick Business School, where they completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in 2005. Currently, Koenraad Dom is pursuing a Ph.D. in Risk Management at KU Leuven, expected to be completed in 2022.
