Rodney Samuel

Rodney Samuel has several years of work experience in the field of cyber security and application development. Rodney is currently employed as a Threat Detection Engineer at Tide, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, Rodney worked at FICO as a Cyber Security Engineer from June 2019 to June 2021. Rodney also has experience at Accenture, where they held the positions of Application Development Analyst and Splunk Developer from December 2017 to June 2019, and Application Development Associate and Splunk Developer from July 2016 to December 2017. Rodney's earlier work experience includes an internship at the National Informatics Centre, where they served as an Intern from December 2015 to April 2016.

Rodney Samuel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Before that, they attended Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School from 2010 to 2012, where they focused on Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Rodney has obtained several certifications, including being a Splunk Certified Administrator and Splunk Certified Power User from Splunk in November 2016 and October 2016 respectively. Rodney also holds a certification in Using BigSheets for Spreadsheet-like Analytics from IBM, obtained in August 2015, and a Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council in July 2015.
