Deepti S. has extensive experience in the fields of measurement, innovation, learning, and evaluation. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Measurement, Innovation, Learning, and Evaluation at Tides, where they lead the effort to measure and understand the organization's impact, improve strategies for maximum effectiveness, and build staff capacity for innovation and learning.
Before joining Tides, Deepti worked at TCC Group, where they served as the Associate Director of Evaluation & Learning. In this role, they co-led the evaluation & learning team, delivering innovative and high-quality work products and leading engaged client efforts. Deepti'swork focused on emergent learning and equitable evaluation practices, and they worked with several notable clients in the philanthropic sector.
Prior to their role as Associate Director, Deepti was a Senior Consultant at TCC Group, specializing in evaluation and learning. Deepti helped organizations become more learning-focused in their outcomes and evaluation work, worked on multi-year grantmaking portfolios, and collaborated with numerous nonprofits and philanthropies at the local, national, and international level.
Outside of their professional roles, Deepti has served in various volunteer positions. Deepti was a Steering Committee Member for the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, NYC Chapter, and held the role of Secretary of the Board for the New York Consortium of Evaluators.
Prior to their time at TCC Group, Deepti worked as a Program Evaluator at Youth INC and as a Community Researcher at the Center for Community Partnerships.
Deepti S. holds a master's degree (MA) in Psychology from Wesleyan University. Additionally, they earned a bachelor's degree (BA) from the same institution, with a double major in Psychology and Sociology.
