Graeme Harris has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Graeme started their career in 2016 as a Software Developer at AMJ SOFTWARE LIMITED, where they developed a React-Native Mobile app called Fortune App. In 2018, they worked as a Vacation Student at Opti-Num Solutions, focusing on predictive maintenance algorithms for industrial boilers.
From 2019 to 2021, Graeme worked at MOHARA as a Senior Software Engineer. Graeme led the engineering team for the ekko product, a fintech project that aimed to fight climate change. Graeme also worked on developing a Personal Medical Records App and a friction-less shopping web app.
In 2022, Graeme joined Patchwork Health as a Software Engineer. In this role, they managed the platform engineering group and led the integrations and bank engineering teams. Graeme focused on reworking the system platform for scalability and security.
Currently, Graeme works at Today Mobility as a Software Engineer, starting in 2023.
Graeme Harris attended the University of Cape Town from 2016 to 2019, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In 2020, they enrolled in the Division of Biomedical Engineering at the same university to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
In addition to their formal education, Graeme also obtained a certification in MATLAB Fundamentals from CESA - Consulting Engineers South Africa in July 2018.
