Fatma Hameed has worked in the field of gender and protection programs for the past seven years. Fatma began their career in 2014 as a Protection and Gender Officer at the NFDHR, where their main responsibilities included participating in the development of project plans and activities, coordinating capacity building sessions, and writing reports. In 2017, they moved to Oxfam as a Gender Program Officer for Women and Peacebuilding. Her main responsibilities included playing a lead role in the assessment, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Women and Peacebuilding project, ensuring effective and timely delivery of the project's priority activities, and submitting quality donor reports. Currently, they are working as a Software QA Engineer and QA Trainee at TIE Kinetix.

Fatma Hameed has an educational history that spans from 2003 to the present. Fatma received a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from Sana'a University in 2008. From 2016 to 2021, they studied International Development and Gender Studies at Sana'a University.
