Javier Agustín Farías

Javier Agustín Farías has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and programming. Javier Agustín is currently the Director of Engineering at Tiendamia, a position they have held since April 2023. Previously, they served as the Head of Architecture at Tiendamia from August 2022 to April 2023. Prior to that, Javier worked as the Adobe Commerce Practice Lead at Conexio from June 2021 to July 2022. Javier Agustín also worked as a Consultant at First Due from July 2020 to June 2021.

Javier's earlier roles include serving as the CTO at Tiendamia from January 2017 to July 2020, where they also worked as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2016 to January 2017. Javier Agustín was a Professor at the Universidad de la República from March 2015 to March 2019. Before that, Javier gained experience as a Programmer at NetSuite from April 2012 to June 2013, as a Java Developer at Scanntech from January 2012 to April 2012, and as a Programmer at Gproxy Design from March 2010 to January 2012. Javier Agustín began their career as a Webmaster at Inmobiliaria Regueira from August 2007 to January 2011.

Javier Agustín Farías holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IEEM - Escuela de Negocios, which they obtained from 2022 to 2023. Javier Agustín also has a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de la República, completed from 2010 to 2016. In addition, they pursued a degree in Physics from the same university from 2006 to 2009.
