Marcelo Pérez has extensive work experience in the field of design and advertising. Marcelo started their career at SMS Consulting in 2006 as a Graphic Designer and Creative Communicator, where they worked until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at Hydra Media Labs as a Web Designer and Website Administrator. Marcelo then joined Terare Multimedios in 2010 as a Graphic and Editorial Designer until 2012. From 2011 to 2013, Marcelo worked at eLace Media Services as a Web and Graphic Designer. In 2013, they briefly worked as a Publicity Teacher at Bios before joining Doigt Estudio as a Web and Graphic Designer. Currently, Marcelo is working at Infotin S.A. as a UX Lead and Product Designer, as well as a UI/UX Designer and Team Lead.

Marcelo Pérez completed a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Universidad ORT Uruguay from 2002 to 2007. During the same period, they also participated in a workshop on Production and Post-production for TV Commercials at the same institution. In 2008, Marcelo attended a workshop on Advertising and Interactivity on the WEB at Universidad ORT. In 2011, they took a workshop on Photography at the School of Photography and Video. Before attending university, Marcelo completed their primary education at Escuela N° 28 in Chuy, Rocha from 1989 to 1995. Marcelo then went on to complete their high school education, specializing in a Humanistic Legal orientation, at Liceo N° 1 in Chuy, Rocha from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, Marcelo has obtained various certifications, including a course on User Experience in the Design of Physical and Digital Products from the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism of the University of the Republic in 2020. Marcelo also has certifications in Google Ads and Google Analytics, which they acquired in 2019, and a certification in Cognitive Psychology and User Experience from Concreta in 2018.
