Aly Horn

Assistant Dean, Program Development at Tiffin University

Aly Horn serves as Managing Director of Creative Arts. She leads recruiting and retention activities, and manages the administrative functions of TU’s active music, dance, art, theatre, and media arts activities. As an Instructor of Music and voice teacher, she is passionate about functional vocal pedagogy and evidence-based voice teaching across all styles and genres. She also founded TU’s musical theatre program, directing the first TU musical theatre productions, including Rent (2022), Dogfight (2021), Spring Awakening (2020), and Heathers (2019). Prior to working at TU, Aly taught in several Ohio public schools, serving as Director of Choirs and director of musical theatre productions. Trained in classical voice, she received her bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Voice from Ashland University. She holds a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from Tiffin University and training in Commercial Voice Pedagogy from Shenandoah University. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their Golden Retriever, Ruby.
