Lead Research Scientist at Tiger Analytics

Yasha Zeinali, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience starting in 2008 as a Teaching Assistant in Programming with Fortran at Amirkabir University. From 2011 to 2012, Yasha worked as a Structural Design Assistant at CIC-Iran. In 2012, Yasha served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Linear Finite Element at Amirkabir University before moving on to work as an Educational Consultant at Civil House in 2013. In 2014, Yasha worked as a Structural Designer at Hexa Consulting Engineers Co. and simultaneously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Southern Methodist University until 2018. Currently, Yasha is a Lead Research Scientist at Tiger Analytics, where they previously held roles as a Senior Data Scientist and a Structural Image Data Scientist. At Tiger Analytics, Yasha has gained skills in Microsoft Cognitive Services, ArcGIS, LasPy, and Shapely through involvement in projects such as a LiDAR-based assets monitoring framework and a drone-based asset monitoring computer-vision framework.

Yasha Zeinali, Ph.D., holds a diverse and extensive educational background. From 2003 to 2007, Zeinali attended Allameh Tabataba'i University, where they focused on Mathematics and Physics. Following this, Zeinali pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from 2007 to 2011 at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. Continuing their academic journey, Zeinali completed a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the same university from 2011 to 2014. Zeinali's passion for exploration and advancement in their field led them to Southern Methodist University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Structural Health Monitoring from 2014 to 2018.
