Luba Plotnikoff

Luba Plotnikoff is an experienced marketing and media relations professional with a strong background in the tourism and film industries. Currently serving as the Marketing & Media Relations Manager at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort and Conference Centre since October 2013, Luba effectively oversees all marketing efforts for the resort. Luba also engages in publicity for Beach Flicks, collaborating with the Toronto International Film Festival to present quality films, and leads Vancouver Island Communications & PR as Principal, focusing on media and marketing solutions. Previously, Luba held the position of Manager, Travel Trade & Media Relations at Tourism Vancouver Island, where a successful media and trade relations program was developed in partnership with Destination British Columbia. Additionally, Luba spent nine years as the Media Relations Manager for the Oceanside Tourism Association. Luba holds an Associate of Arts degree in Communications, specializing in Film & Television Production from Capilano University.
