Ernie Esquivel

General/IT Operation Manager at Tigua Inc.

Ernie Esquivel has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Ernie began their career as a Customer Service Representative II/Personal Banker at State National Bank in 2002. In 2007, they joined The University of Texas at El Paso College of Engineering as a Web Designer. There, they created new pages and edited text on different pages of the plaza while using Dreamweaver and Photoshop software. Ernie then worked at Lockheed Martin/GHG Storefront, Facilities Development and Operations Contract (FDOC) as an Associate Programmer and was responsible for using Microsoft SharePoint Designer to develop and maintain SharePoint workflows and to customize list, web parts, and sites. In 2011, Ernie joined DXC Technology as a Project Manager and managed customer, project delivery and business development, among other things. In the same year, Ernie became a Business Operation Manager (BOM)/Business Analyst (BA)/Critical Incident Manager (CIM) at Hewlett Packard Enterprise until 2019. Ernie then became a General/IT Operation Manager at Tigua Inc., where they led teams of professionals in multiple locations and oversaw all contracts-related matters and risk levels. Currently, Ernie works as a Business Analyst II at GECU.

Ernie Esquivel holds a degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at El Paso, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science Engineering from El Paso Community College from 2004 to 2006. Their high school education was completed at Eastwood High School from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their academic education, Ernie has obtained three certifications: Six Sigma White Belt from Aveta Business Institute in 2015, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from CSME, Inc in 2013, and Compuware APM Data Analyst from Compuware Gomez in 2012.
