Kati Deegan

Kati Deegan is an experienced microbiologist currently serving as the Bio Lab Section Leader at Tikkurila since May 2021. Prior to this role, Kati worked at Orion Corporation as a QC Microbiologist from January 2013 to May 2021. Academic experiences include being a researcher and MSc student at the University of Helsinki from October 2011 to January 2013, and a researcher at University College Cork in 2006. Kati's extensive laboratory background began as a Laboratory Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific, alongside roles at the Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira. Kati holds a Master of Science in Food Science with a specialization in Microbiology from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Services from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
