Umashankar Upase possesses extensive experience in sales and operations within the digital and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President at Hathway Digital Private Limited since September 2022, Umashankar is focused on managing distributor and local cable operator (LCO) relationships while achieving set targets for gross and net additions in the Rest of Maharashtra Region. Previously, as General Manager of Sales Operations at Tikona Digital Networks Pvt. Ltd. since November 2009, Umashankar managed sales and service delivery operations, manpower planning, and customer lifecycle management for the retail broadband sector. Prior roles include Zonal Business Manager at Bharati Airtel Limited, where responsibilities encompassed achieving acquisition targets and expanding services in rural areas, and Area Operations Manager at Tata Communication Limited, overseeing distributor relationships and fiber network rollout in Mumbai.
