Kirsten Daru

Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at Tile

Kirsten Daru is the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Tile. Prior to joining Tile, Ms. Daru served as the Chief Privacy Officer at Electronic Arts from October 2008 to March 2019. In this role, they were responsible for advising and counseling EA on all aspects of privacy and consumer protection. Ms. Daru also led EA’s litigation team in cases involving consumer claims.

Before joining Electronic Arts, Ms. Daru was an attorney at Reed Smith LLP from January 2001 to December 2008. During their time at Reed Smith, they advised clients on a variety of legal matters, including advertising, promotions, sweepstakes, and marketing.

Ms. Daru received their J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2000 and their B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1997.

Kirsten Daru received a Bachelor of Arts in Latin from the University of California, Davis. Kirsten then attended Menlo Atherton High School, followed by the University of San Francisco School of Law.
