James Coghill has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. James began their career at Fred Meyer Jewelers as a Market Research Analyst-Intern, where they analyzed customer satisfaction reports and identified customer segments for targeted marketing strategies.

James then joined Sigma Pi Fraternity, where they served as the Philanthropy Chairman, organizing fundraising events and campaigns for charitable causes. James also held the role of Recruitment Chairman, implementing recruitment strategies and managing potential new members.

Following their time in the fraternity, James worked at the American Marketing Association as the VP of Communications. James was responsible for managing internal and external communication, updating social media accounts, and writing blog posts.

After completing their undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon, James joined Kroger as an Assistant Merchandise Buyer and later participated in the General Merchandise Training Program.

James furthered their career at Tillamook County Creamery Association, starting as a Shopper Insights Analyst before transitioning to roles such as Consumer Insights Assistant Manager, Consumer & Market Insights Manager, and ultimately becoming a Business Partner to the CEO and a Category Growth Manager.

In addition to their corporate roles, James also gained experience in venture investing as a Fund Analyst at Willamette Angel Fund, LLC, and as a Member of the Oregon Venture Fund.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated their analytical and communication skills, as well as their ability to drive growth and make strategic business decisions.

James Coghill's education history begins with their high school education at West Linn High School, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. After completing high school, they pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business from 2012 to 2015. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a focus in Honors Business Administration and Management.

Following their undergraduate studies, James Coghill furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Willamette University. James attended from 2020 to 2022, focusing on various aspects of business administration.

In addition to their formal education, James Coghill has also obtained some certifications. In 2017, they completed the "Principles of Market Research" certification from the University of Georgia. Furthermore, in 2019, they obtained the "Supply Chain Foundations" certification from LinkedIn.
