Michael Norris 🌱

Michael Norris's work experience begins in 2006 when they worked as a Sales Assistant at Orange. Michael then joined Virgin Atlantic Airways as a Cabin Crew member, where they developed customer service and organizational skills. In 2011, they transitioned to Apple Retail as a Specialist, providing tailored solutions to customers and delivering a unique customer experience.

In 2014, Michael worked at Flipside Group as an iOS Software Engineer, focusing on promoting design standards and practices, documenting workflows, and fostering agile and scrum behaviors. Michael then founded Whiteboard Ltd in 2015 with a friend, where they designed and developed a hybrid Learning Management System and Student Information Management System. In 2016, they joined Hawksmoor Construction Services Limited as a Software Engineer and later took on the role of Contract Liaison Officer in 2008-2009.

In 2019, Michael founded Fussy Fork, and in the same year, they became the Development Manager at Tillo, a fast-growing SaaS company in the Fintech space. As the VP of Engineering at Tillo, they are responsible for the technical strategy, product infrastructure, and engineering teams. Michael recruits and manages a diverse team of engineers and encourages their professional growth and knowledge-sharing.

Additionally, Michael is the founder of Wellbeingo, established in 2022. Overall, Michael Norris has a diverse background in software engineering, entrepreneurship, and customer service, with a focus on technical leadership, team management, and strategic thinking.

Michael Norris 🌱 has a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering from the University of Brighton, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2010 to 2011, although they did not complete a degree or field of study during that time. Michael also attended Colchester Royal Grammar School from 2001 to 2006, although no degree or field of study is specified. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained certifications such as being a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, which they obtained in July 2021, and a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from The Knowledge Academy in March 2019.
