Software Engineer (python) at Tillo

Tim Morris has a diverse work experience primarily in the music industry. Tim started in 2007 as a House Sound Technician at Hanbury Club, where they engineered live events and set up PA systems for various artists. In 2009, they moved on to be a House Sound Technician at The Brighton Coalition, responsible for operating sound and lighting equipment at a live music venue. Tim then worked as a Sound Engineer at The Ironworks Studio, where they also edited and prepared audio for professional drum sample libraries. In 2010, they took on the role of Sound Engineer at The Dairy Studios in London, managing multiple studios and delivering high-quality results for recording sessions. Alongside these roles, Tim Morris also worked as a live sound engineer and freelance music producer, completing studio projects for independent artists and major record labels, as well as touring nationally and internationally. Tim is currently a Junior Software Developer at Tillo, specializing in Python programming. Tim Morris has developed a broad skill set in the music industry, working technically and creatively and adhering to high standards under time and budgetary pressure.

Tim Morris began their education at Varndean College, where they pursued A Levels in Music Technology, Media Studies, and Business Studies. After completing their A Levels, Tim enrolled at Northbrook College in Worthing, where they studied Music Production to obtain a Ba (Hons) degree.

In 2020, Tim obtained several certifications, including the Wwise Interactive Music and Wwise Fundamentals from Audiokinetic, as well as the Dante Certification Level 2 from Audinate.

Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Tim attended Code Institute, where they completed a diploma in Software Development.
