David Beavers is an accomplished engineering and energy professional with extensive experience in renewable energy and infrastructure development. Currently serving as Head of Origination at Tilt Renewables since December 2023, David leads efforts to identify and develop early-stage renewable opportunities. Previously, David held various roles at AusNet Services from October 2017 to November 2023, including General Manager of Network Infrastructure, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing transmission augmentation and battery energy storage projects, as well as managing engineering and stakeholder teams. Earlier in their career, David worked at Jacobs from January 2014 to October 2017 as a Project Engineer and Lead Mechanical Engineer on high-profile projects in Mongolia and Brazil. David began career at Sinclair Knight Merz, contributing as an Engineering Coordinator and Mechanical Engineer from June 2006 to December 2013, focusing on innovative mining solutions. David holds a Master of Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Queensland University of Technology.
