Tamara Momirov

Tamara Momirov, CIPP/US, has extensive experience in the legal and privacy fields. Tamara is currently serving as the VP of Legal & Privacy at Tilting Point, a role they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Meta as the Lead Counsel, Privacy from March 2022 to December 2022. In this role, they provided legal advice on third-party data sharing and ensured compliance with GDPR, US privacy laws, and FTC privacy order. Tamara also led the creation of third-party data ingestion principles.

Before joining Meta, Tamara worked at Tilting Point as the Corporate Counsel & Head of Privacy from November 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they established standards and procedures for privacy compliance across the company's game portfolio and led privacy due diligence in international M&A deals. Tamara was also responsible for drafting and negotiating various agreements.

Prior to Tilting Point, Tamara served as the Director of Legal Affairs at Shyft from July 2018 to October 2020. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing data protection and security processes, drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising on labor and benefit matters.

Tamara began their career as an Associate at Bojović & Partners Advokati / Attorneys at Law, where they provided legal advice on data protection, IP, corporate, competition, and real estate matters to international clients. Tamara also optimized clients' compliance with data protection regulations and provided IP-related legal services.

Additionally, Tamara has gained valuable experience through internships and fellowships. Tamara served as the Yahoo Global Public Policy Fellow in Business & Human Rights at Yahoo, where they led Human Rights Impact Assessments and collaborated on policy development. Tamara also worked as a Summer Associate with the Speech, Privacy and Technology Project at the ACLU, conducting research and drafting briefs on privacy and free expression topics.

Tamara's qualifications include a CIPP/US certification. Tamara holds a strong expertise in GDPR, US privacy laws, and data protection.

Tamara Momirov, CIPP/US, has a strong educational background in law. Tamara obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Pravni fakultet Univerziteta u Beogradu / University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2016, and they also hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the same institution, which they earned in 2013. In addition to their education in law, Tamara Momirov has a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Duke University School of Law, earned in 2015. Tamara has also obtained various certifications, including the New York Bar admission in 2021, the CIPP/US certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2015, the DELE B2 certification from the Instituto Cervantes in 2011, and a Certificate of Training in fields related to EU policies from the Brussels Office of the Veneto Region and the Union of the Chambers of Commerce in 2008.
