Lisa Nafziger, MSW, LICSW, CSW-PIP, QMHP

Lisa Nafziger has a diverse work experience in the field of social work and mental health. Lisa currently works as a TimelyMD Mental Health Provider since September 2020. Lisa also serves as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Choices Recovery Services since March 2021. Previously, they worked as a Mental Health Therapist/Clinical Social Worker at Peak Performance Counseling Center starting from January 2019.

Prior to that, Lisa had a significant role at Peak Performance Training Center, where they served as a Program Director and Mental Health Coach from July 2017. Lisa also has experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at ACE Academy from August 2020 to March 2022.

Lisa's early career involved working as a Mental Health Professional at Southwestern Mental Health Center from May 2003 to June 2017. Their responsibilities there included providing outpatient mental health care to individuals of different age groups, utilizing therapy approaches such as trauma-based interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. Additionally, they specialized in Military Social Work.

Lisa Nafziger has an extensive education history in the field of social work. Lisa obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Military Practice from the University of Saint Thomas, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Northwestern College, attending from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, Lisa obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from Northwest Iowa Community College in 1997-1998.

Moreover, Lisa has acquired several additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Lisa obtained the Licensed Independent Social Worker - PIP certification in May 2020 from the Social Services, South Dakota Department of. Lisa became a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) in August 2015 as designated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Furthermore, Lisa holds the certification of Licensed Certified Social Worker, obtained from the South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners in November 2016.
