Brian Barrera

Brian Barrera has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years in various roles and companies. Brian started their career in 1988 as the Director of Marketing at Comdisco Systems and later held similar roles at Cadence Design Systems and Mentor Graphics. In 1995, they became the Director of Marketing for Intellectual Property at Mentor Graphics and continued in this position until 1998. From 1998 to 2005, Brian worked as a Consultant in the high-tech industry before joining ARM in 2005 as the Director of Business Development. During their time at ARM, they transitioned into North American Business Development for ARM RealView and Keil embedded tools. In 2008, Brian joined CodeSourcery, Inc. as the Technical Sales Director and achieved significant revenue growth through successful evaluations and product support. CodeSourcery was later acquired by Mentor Graphics in 2010, and Brian became an Application Consultant responsible for securing design wins and providing technical support to major accounts. In 2015, they started their own consulting firm called Brian Barrera & Associates, and in 2016, they joined Timesys Corporation as a Field Technical Sales representative. Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, business development, technical support, and consulting within the embedded systems industry.

Brian Barrera attended Michigan Technological University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
