Tom Romanowski

Managing Director Innovation & Technology / CDO at Timing

Tom Romanowski has a diverse work experience with expertise in innovation, technology, and digital strategy. Tom currently holds the role of Director of Innovation & Technology at Timing, where they are responsible for developing and executing the company's tech, digital, data, and growth marketing strategy. Before joining Timing, Tom co-founded Hipocampers in 2021.

Prior to these roles, Tom worked at APG as a Business Lead and Director of Innovation. Tom was responsible for the P&L and business model innovation for one of APG's strategic product lines. Tom also served as a Non-Executive Director at Prikkl and as a Business Director at Kandoor, an AI platform/marketplace connecting clients and financial advisors.

Before joining APG, Tom was a Digital Innovation Manager at APG, where they played a key role in building the company's business model innovation accelerator program. Tom introduced Lean Startup, Design Thinking, and 10 types of innovation management at APG and led multiple international co-creation tech programs.

Additionally, Tom has experience as the Head of Growth Marketing at ASR's insurance brand, Loyalis, where they were responsible for digital strategy and P&L oversight for online channels. Tom also worked as an Ecommerce Manager at eyeOpen, overseeing e-commerce for loans, mortgages, and payment products.

Tom started their career at Obvion, a mortgage provider and brand of Rabobank, where they served as a Product Manager, executing the product development of various offerings.
