Bill Bryan

EVP, Manufacturing & Supply Chain at TimkenSteel

William P. Bryan serves as an executive vice president at TimkenSteel, responsible for manufacturing, supply chain and information technology. In this role, he leads a team focused on integrated supply chain and operations while maintaining a primary focus on safety, quality and service. Bill also leads the TSB Metal Recycling and the TimkenSteel Material Services subsidiaries. Bill most recently held the position of executive vice president, supply chain and information technology. He joined the company 1977, serving in various positions related to supply chain, economics and information technology in both the U.S. and Europe. One highlight during that tenure is his implementation of a synchronous flow manufacturing process with accompanying metrics that delivered inventory savings of 40 percent while improving delivery and lowering manufacturing costs. Bill also has 10 years of experience overseeing European supply chain operations for The Timken Company, including serving three years in Colmar, France. He is recognized in the supply chain industry, previously serving as chair of i2 Technologies User Group Board and vice president of JDA Software Board, comprised of more than 6,000 member companies in the field. In addition, Bill is active in his local community, serving for the third time as president of the board of Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, with more than 25 years in total on that board. He is also a commissioner for the Stark County Parks District. Bill holds bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Kent State University. He completed the Executive Development for Global Excellence (EDGE) program at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.
