Carlin Tacey

Carlin Tacey is an experienced Landscape Architect currently working at Timmons Group since September 2022. Previously served as an Adjunct Instructor at Virginia Tech, teaching visual representation and design courses related to Urban and Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture until April 2023. Tacey's professional background includes roles at Waterstreet Studio, MICHAEL VAN VALKENBURGH ASSOCIATES, INC. as a Senior Project Manager, and Booz Allen Hamilton as a Housing Analyst and Community Planner focused on community planning for Air Force installations. Earlier experience includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, a Horticultural Intern at the Smithsonian Institution, and a Workflow Analyst at C2 Technologies. Tacey holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and dual Master’s degrees in Landscape Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech.
