Riki van-Niekerk

Riki Van-Niekerk started their work experience as a Geotechnical Engineer Intern at Underhill Engineering, LLC in July 2016. They then moved on to work as a Project Engineer at Dominion Engineering & Design, LLC from March 2017 to April 2018. After that, they joined Roudabush, Gale & Associates as a Project Engineer in May 2018 and stayed until July 2021. From June 2021, Riki Van-Niekerk has been working as a Project Engineer II at Timmons Group. Prior to their engineering career, Riki also worked as a Professional Athlete for LPGA from June 2010 to July 2016.

Riki Van-Niekerk received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the same university from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Riki obtained certifications as a Soils and Aggregate Compaction Technician from the Virginia Department of Transportation in March 2018, and as an Engineer In Training from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
