Stefan Palmqvist

Stefan Palmqvist has extensive experience in risk management and operational risk. Stefan is currently the Head of Risk at Tink, where they are responsible for the independent risk control function. Their role involves creating an awareness and understanding of risk exposures, identifying and reporting significant risks, and shaping Tink's risk strategy.

Before joining Tink, Stefan worked at Klarna as the Head of Group Operational Risk and later as the Cyber and IT Operational Risk Officer. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing and maintaining frameworks for operational risks, including cyber and IT risks. Stefan also led a team and ensured adherence to risk management policies and processes.

Prior to Klarna, Stefan had a long career at Swedbank, starting as a Systems Engineer at Swedbank Markets and later taking on various roles such as IO Domain Architect, Department Manager for Windows and VMware Platform, and Acting Head of IT Core Infrastructure. In these roles, they were responsible for managing infrastructure, developing long-term plans, and delivering operational services.

Stefan's career started as a Consultant at WM-data before moving on to their roles at Swedbank. Their experience spans over two decades, and they have continuously played a crucial role in managing risk and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
