Zehra Sahin

Zehra Sahin has a diverse background in the legal field. Zehra is currently the Head of Legal at Tinka, a Dutch consumer credit and deferred payments partner. Before joining Tinka, Zehra worked at Amelia, the world's largest privately owned AI company, where they held various roles, including Associate General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Prior to that, they worked as a Legal Counsel at Briddge, providing legal, tax, accounting, and payroll services to internationally-oriented companies. Zehra also gained experience as a Junior Lawyer at Maverick Advocaten NV, specializing in competition law, and as a Legal Counsel at Briddge, focusing on (business) immigration matters. Zehra has also been actively involved in organizing events related to European law during their time as the President of EU-Topia. Additionally, Zehra has worked as a Commercial Representative at ABN AMRO and participated in a project called "Brug naar de top" at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.

Zehra Sahin has an extensive education history in the field of law and international studies. Zehra completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2006 to 2010. Zehra then pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International and European Law at the same university, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, in 2011, they briefly attended Stellenbosch University to study Political Science as part of their LL.M. program.

From 2011 to 2014, Zehra Sahin pursued a second Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, this time specializing in the Law and Politics of International Security. During this period, they also undertook a short-term international peace mediation program at The Institute for Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding in Switzerland. In 2013, they completed a certification program in International Mobility and Compliance at the Expatise Academy.

Later on, in 2016, Sahin attended Cambio Spanish Language School in Antigua, Guatemala. Their studies were focused on developing elementary proficiency in the Spanish language and exploring Spanish Language and Literature.

In continuation of their legal education, Sahin pursued several postgraduate studies. In 2017, they completed a postgraduate program in law at SDU, followed by another postgraduate program at Radboud University from 2017 to 2018. Zehra also participated in a postgraduate program at Berghauser Pont Academy in 2017, further enhancing their legal knowledge.
