Master Leader at Tinkergarten

Amy Singh has been working in the professional field since 2007. Amy began their career as a Bookkeeper for Rebar Steel Corp., where they managed Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables, managed weekly payroll and certified payroll reports, followed up with Worker's Compensation claims, and maintained and filed records. In 2009, they began working as a Yoga Instructor for The Life Enrichment Center At Oyster Bay, where they planned, structured, and implemented yoga and pilates classes that were accessible to various experience, ages, and capabilities, and provided instruction on proper breathing practices, meditation techniques, and poses to facilitate maximum benefits. In 2015, they joined Tinkergarten as a Master Leader and Leader, providing direct support and mentoring to Tinkergarten leaders across the country, implementing curriculum pertinent to developmental growth and designed for engagement, and building, keeping, and sharing institutional knowledge.

Amy Singh attended Kellenberg Memorial High School from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their high school degree. Amy then attended the University of Scranton from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Criminal Justice and Corrections. In 2009, they obtained their YogaFit Instructor certification from YogaFit. In 2015, they attended City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College and obtained their Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy in 2017.
