Katie Daugherty Teahan

Katie Daugherty Teahan has over 15 years of professional experience in finance and accounting. Katie began their career in 2003 as a Senior Assurance Associate at KPMG LLP, where they served a variety of public and private clients in various industries. In 2005, they moved to Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Assurance Associate, where they served as lead senior auditor on clients in various industries. In 2007, they took on the role of Sr. SOX Compliance Analyst at CSK Auto, where they updated internal controls documentation and tested and monitored Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Matrix Medical Network as an Accounting Manager, where they coordinated and performed a wide variety of month-end closing tasks. Katie also organized and led monthly meetings with the Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Controllership departments. In 2010, they also began working at General Motors as a Sr. Analyst, Global FSS Internal Controls, where they led Sarbanes-Oxley process and coordinated new business opportunities. In 2017, they became a Leader & Parks Liaison at Tinkergarten. In 2014, they also began working as a Professional Finance & Accounting Consultant, where they assist businesses with their daily accounting needs and advises and assists in completing special finance and accounting projects.

Katie Daugherty Teahan obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Villanova University between 1999 and 2003. Katie also attended Xavier College Preparatory between 1995 and 1999, where they obtained their High School diploma. Additionally, Katie is a Certified Public Accountant.
