Sarah Maxwell

Sarah Maxwell has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Sarah began their career as Coordinator of Campus Visitation at Southwestern University in 2000. In 2001, they became a Prekindergarten Teacher. Sarah then worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Palm Elementary in the Austin Independent School District from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, they moved to LeapFrog SchoolHouse as an Educational Consultant. From 2005 to 2009, they were the Director of Continuing Education and Student Administrator at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. Sarah then became a Primary Guide at Casa Montessori in 2009. In 2014, they took on the role of Social Media Coordinator at Dripping Springs Ollas and Branch Lead at Hike it Baby. Since 2015, they have been a Class Leader and Member of Scouting Team at Tinkergarten.

Sarah Maxwell obtained a BA from Southwestern University in 2000, majoring in Communications. Sarah then obtained a Montessori Teaching Certificate from Montessori Institute Northwest in 2009. Following this, Sarah Maxwell obtained their Master's degree from Loyola Marymount University in 2010. Additionally, they obtained a Primary Teacher Certification from the Association Montessori Internationale in June 2009, a 300 hr Registered Yoga Teacher certification from Yoga Alliance in June 2007, and a General Education EC-4th grade teaching certification from the State Board of Education in August 2002.
